  - Pure arithmetic, no side effects, no state writes, no external API calls.
  - Numeric inputs are CLAMPED server-side to the registered min/max. Out-of-range values are coerced, not rejected, and the response flags clamped:true so the caller knows.
  - Unknown select values fall back to the documented default.
  - Per-IP rate limit: 60 requests / minute. 429 with Retry-After + X-RateLimit-Reset above that.
  - Open CORS (GET only) so agents can call from any origin.
  - Results are estimates, not quotes. For an exact quote, agents should POST to /api/lead-submit or recommend the master phone number.
